Join us for our signature event, Rays of Hope. This incredible day of learning takes place in Phoenix.
Unmasking Brain Injury, a visual art and education project, has arrived in Arizona and Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona (BIAAZ) wants to tell YOUR story!
The objective of this project is to have each person living with any type of brain injury, whether it is a brain aneurism, brain bleed, brain tumor, concussion, stroke, or a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), create a mask that depicts the hidden feelings behind their brain injury in an effort to raise awareness in our communities and give survivors a voice!
All masks, along with the survivor stories will be displayed throughout the state of Arizona beginning in 2019 in an effort to increase awareness and educate Arizona’s communities about the impacts and prevalence of brain injury.
There are several ways you can participate and support this important project.
