The Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona  presents

THINK TALL — DON’T FALL

A program to build skills and boost abilities

Thursday, September 3rd — 2:00 PM (Arizona Time)

Would you like to… Feel sure-footed and at ease? Walk down the stairs with confidence? Feel more alert and aware of your surroundings? Easily stand up from a chair or get up from the floor?

YOU CAN!

A unique class and the only one of its kind. With a series of simple, adaptable movements that activate the mind and body for whole brain functioning you can improve your balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and reflexes. In addition, your mental clarity and mood will improve.

  • The central principle of this class is that whole brain functioning, at the neurological level, can provide us with the foundation for excellent balance. Working in conjunction with neural functioning are the structural elements of the body — muscles, tendons, blood flow, and energy pathways.
  • The second principle of the class is that the structural elements of balance function best when the nerve networks are at their best. By re-patterning our neural networks, strengthening specific muscle groups, and opening energy pathways, we can regain optimal functioning both physically and mentally.

Classes instructed by:

Christina Boyd is an Educational Kinesiologist, Licensed Brain Gym® Instructor and Master Practitioner of NLP. A movement therapist for 28 years, she works with children, teens, adults, and couples to facilitate personal change.
