This year the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona is bringing you some camp fun via the internet. This pandemic may have us cocooning at home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t meet with our friends and celebrate survivors. We will take time to reminisce about past camps and get caught up on each other’s lives.

Then we’ll be joined by Cowboy Poet Don Furwalt. Don is the 2020 President of Arizona Cowboy Poet Gathering and 2018 Gail I. Gardner Award winning poet. He recently authored his Cowboy Poetry Book, Straight from the Saddle. He has entertained from camp fires to convents, back yards to Amphitheaters. A horseman since the age of seven, Don is still training horses and living the life he loves.

He will entertain you with his original poetry as well as the traditional and classic poems. His selection of humorous and thought provoking material will touch your heart, leave you laughing, and thinking of a time when the cowboy was king.
