American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS)
The certification program consists of two levels representing distinct levels of knowledge, training and supervisory skills: Level I - Basic, and Level II - Advanced. The program and curriculum for Level II are being developed. Information will be published as it becomes available. The initial term of certification is three years for Level I – Basic.
AACBIS also certifies Clinical Instructors and Examiners who provide training in brain injury services and evaluation of Level I applicants. The initial term of certification is five years for Clinical Instructors and Examiners.
